Lori Ideta receives student affairs lifetime achievement award

[Posted: March 16, 2017]  Lori Ideta, University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa interim vice chancellor for students, was recognized with the 2017 Fred Turner Award for Outstanding Service from NASPA Student Affairs Professionals in Higher Education. The equivalent of a lifetime achievement award, NASPA honored Ideta for bringing honor and dignity to the student affairs profession.

University Health Services gets revamped reception area

[Posted: July 15, 2015]  University Health Services (UHS) at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa celebrated the renovation and reopening of their reception room on Wednesday, July 15. UHS administration, medical and support staff gathered for a blessing and tour of the revamped space.

UH Mānoa to be smoke-free by fall 2015

[Posted: June 24, 2015]  Statement from UH Mānoa Chancellor Robert Bley-Vroman: Aloha Everyone, As a follow-up to my announcement in March, I would like to inform you all that the official start date for a Smoke-Free Campus will be moved to fall 2015 to kick-start the new semester and accommodate implementation steps necessary for a smooth transition. The university remains committed to promoting the health and well-being of the campus community.

Spring 2017 Career Fair

The purpose of this career fair is to provide you with the "tools" and resources to make important and valuable career decisions. During the Career Fair, you will take your "first steps" toward meaningful employment by meeting with employers face to face to exchange information.

We welcome students and alumni of all majors to attend this event where employers will be informing students on what they'll need to know about career paths, employer expectations and professional opportunities. Students can network with employers, learn about Cooperative Education and Internship opportunities, gain information on career-life planning and more!

Fight the Flu

University Health Services Mānoa encourages you to get a flu vaccination to protect yourself from the flu. Flu shots are available by appointment or on a walk-in basis, Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm at the University Health Services Mānoa.
