Sony Technology Award - Win Sony Vaio Laptops

Calling all UH Mānoa students! Sony Electronics Inc., in partnership with the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, is awarding up to five (5) Sony Vaio laptops to designated qualified student awardees per academic year over the next two years. The purpose of this award is to provide access to technology to students of the University.

Criteria for consideration are as follows:

1) Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate at UH Mānoa in a course of study leading to a degree (you must have at least one year left as an undergraduate student);

2) Demonstrated financial need;

3) From an under-represented group in higher education;

4) Demonstrated service to the community and/or campus as a part of your college education.

Applicants must have a minimum cumulative 3.5 GPA and have completed the FAFSA for the Academic Year 2010/2011. Additional requirements are also listed on the application form.

Application deadline is Monday, November 01, 2010.

Recipients will be selected by a committee appointed by the UH Mānoa Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs.
